Going Paperless Saves Green

Reducing mailing costs is one way we’re working to control administrative costs. This month we expanded our online communications to members by adding more electronic delivery options. Now, members can opt-in to receive most of their plan information online including:

• Consumer-directed health plan (CDHP) communications – new
• Receipts for electronic fund transfer reimbursements – new
• Explanations of benefits (EOBs)
• Plan contracts and coverage information

This is just the beginning of our online delivery expansion. Watch for more information about HealthPartners paperless initiatives later this year.
