- The EBAN Experience ™ is a team-based collaborative that focuses on improving health disparities through community dialogue, experiential education and quality improvement projects. The collaborative was a year-long endeavor, with nine teams of health professionals learning quality improvement methods and applying them to issues affecting the health of local communities. Each team also had a community member to provide advice on community concerns, barriers and other limitations in health care services. The teams began their work in March 2011.
