DESCRIPTION
Physicians in Kidney Health are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of fluid and electrolyte disorders and a broad spectrum of problems from kidney stones to kidney failure. The dedicated physicians and nurses educate patients about the complex issues of kidney failure in preparing for dialysis and transplantation, and managing anemia related to kidney failure. After transplantation, patients are closely monitored by the clinic staff. Nephrologists also work together with primary care physicians to treat difficult hypertension. A bladder scanner is also available to assess voiding problems.
