DESCRIPTION

Specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provide a comprehensive assessment of the patient with musculoskeletal disorders (i.e. back, neck and extremity), stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, other multiple traumas and other neuromotor disorders. A multidisciplinary team approach helps the patient develop a plan of care to manage pain and reach functional goals in mobility, activities of daily living, work and recreation. Pain management including active exercise, medication, injections, and psychological input helps relieve pain and assist in return to normal function and activity.
