Family-Centered Maternity Care The Family Birth Center offers private labor suites for expectant mothers. Additional features of the program include a breastfeeding center with lactation consultants and the option of nurse midwives through Park Nicollet Clinic.

Heart Services A full range of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services are offered through Methodist Hospital's cardiac program. The hospital is a regional referral center for heart patients throughout Minnesota. Services offered include heart surgery and interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and cardiac rehabilitation. Coming in 2005, a new Heart and Vascular Center will offer complete cardiovascular services in one convenient location.

Cancer Care Park Nicollet Cancer Center uses the most current research and technology available to provide a full complement of preventive, diagnostic and treatment services. Because we are committed to caring for patients' entire well-being, a variety of support and education programs are offered to meet their unique mental, spiritual and emotional needs.

Stroke Program Stroke patients receive state-of-the-art care from the Methodist Hospital stroke program. People having a stroke, and who are able to reach the Emergency Center within two hours of stroke onset, are candidates to receive a medication that lessens the effects or prevents the stroke from running its course. Patients who need intensive inpatient care will receive care in the Stroke Unit; the only nursing unit in the Twin Cities exclusively dedicated for caring for stroke patients. Other components of the program include an intensive stroke rehabilitation program and the Stroke INSPIRE program for support and information.
