I strongly believe that the foundation of excellent healthcare is patient involvement. At MNCOME, we provide a strong healthcare team-patient relationship. By teaching patients about their disease states, we empower them to take charge of their health.

Dr. J. Michael Gonzalez-Campoy and his wife, Becky, launched the Minnesota Center for Obesity, Metabolism & Endocrinology, PA (MNCOME) and MNCOME Foundation December 1, 2003. This philosophy of Dr. Mike, as his patients call him, is the force that guides the MNCOME approach to healthcare. MNCOME provides comprehensive health care and education for patients with endocrine diseases and their families in a multi-cultural state-of-the art clinic and conference center.

The MNCOME team consists of endocrinologists and family practice physicians working with registered dietitians and diabetes educators. Together they provide care for a variety of diseases including: diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and male/female hormonal disorders.

MNCOME is the only independent endocrinology referral practice and the first endocrinologist-led obesity treatment center in the East Metro.
