Personal Profile I have two internationally adopted children and a great interest in the physical and mental health of adopted children. My other areas of special interest in practice are adolescence and children with chronic conditions. My greatest joy in the practice of pediatrics is watching children grow up and helping them and their families with all that involves. In addition, I have maintained my interest in public health and actively do research in the areas of immunization and lead poisoning in children. I have been active in my community in many ways and try to improve the health of children, especially in the areas in which I do research.
