Personal Profile I have a special interest in occupational and environmental illness. This refers to work and the environment as a cause of disease. Examples of this type of exposure include asbestos, solvents, chlorine gas, etc. Another area of interest is the application of public health to the prevention of injury and illness at work. A significant portion of work-related injury and illness are potentially preventable. Careful evaluation combined with monitoring the occurrence of injuries leads to understanding their cause and prevention. I have two hobbies - bicycling and photography. I have traveled around much of the world creating a photographic documentary of child labor. This work has been exhibited locally and nationally.
