Metro Urology is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Ann lavers to the Center of Continence Care. A graduate of Woodbury High School, she initially obtained her B.S. in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, PA. returning to complete medical school at the University of Minnesota. After finishing a general surgery intership at Georgetown University Medical Center, she revisited the University of Minnesota completing her urology residency. In furthering her specific commitment to female urology, she accepted a year long fellowship with Metro Urology under the direction of Drs. Steven Siegel, Jyothi Kesha and Suzette Sutherland. During this fellowship she gained specialized expertise in neuromodulation, pelvic prolapse repair voiding dysfunction, urodynamics and female incontinence. Dr. Lavers holds professional membership with the American Urology Association, Society of Women in Urology and Minnesota Urological Society. She is passionately committed to helping women find the most appropriate options, as well as the correct treatments for their particular urologic concerns.
