Personal Profile I was born in the USSR (Ukraine). Completed Moscow Medical School in 1980. I worked for 17 years in the 2nd Municipal Hospital in the Ukraine as a general surgeon; the last four years were as head of the surgery department. I completed the Family Practice Residency Program at the University of Minnesota in 2005. My interests include history, travel, reading, outside activities, and music.
