Personal Profile I believe my role as a pediatrician is two-fold. My first responsibility is to be an advocate for my patients and to promote their well-being. This includes helping parents identify resources they can use to help their child and to help themselves become the best parents possible. The second responsibility is to be a teacher. As a teacher I try to help my patients and their parents understand what is happening to the child medically, and also show parents how they can assist healing and promote the child's health.
