The HealthPartners Medicare Drug Formulary is a list of drugs selected in consultation with a team of health care providers believed to be a necessary part of a quality treatment program. It outlines the drugs that HealthPartners will cover for its Medicare plan members as long as the drug is medically necessary, filled at a HealthPartners network pharmacy and all other plan rules are followed. Please see the Drug Management Programs section of the Evidence of Coverage for information about our quality assurance policies and procedures, including Medication Therapy Management and drug utilization. Generally, the formulary does not change during the year. There are some exceptions. For details, please see page 2 of the printable formulary.
