HealthPartners wins quality stamp of approval

When you're shopping for products and services, it's good to have a trusted source to turn to. Like using Consumer Reports to help you buy that new refrigerator.

When it comes to rating health plan quality, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is the most trusted source in the U.S.:

  • This private, non-profit organization accredits and certifies health care organizations nationwide.
  • The rating of Excellent is the highest rating possible by NCQA and is based on a three-year survey assessment of the health plan.
  • Only the best plans in the country receive the NCQA "Excellent" accreditation.
  • Studies show that NCQA-accredited plans outperform non-accredited plans in all measures of clinical care and member satisfaction.

How does HealthPartners stack up?

  • NCQA awarded HealthPartners with the rating of Excellent for its Medicare Advantage and commercial network products.
  • The product lines each received four-star, top-level performance in every category, including:
    • access and service
    • qualified providers in network
    • members staying healthy
    • members getting better
    • quality of life for members living with illness
  • It's the fifth consecutive year our commercial plans were rated "Excellent" and the fourth consecutive year for our Medicare Advantage plan.

What does it mean to you?

"Ratings like this are very important in helping consumers and employers choose high quality health plans. These results reflect our performance in very important areas. The results demonstrate our work to ensure that our members receive excellent service and support for their health," said Mary Brainerd, President and CEO, HealthPartners.
