Career

R. Jane Brown is retired executive director of Second Harvest Heartland, Minnesota's largest hunger relief organization. Prior to this position, she was president of the Minnesota High Tech Association, commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Economic Security during the Carlson Administration, executive director of the American Physical Therapy Association (Minnesota Chapter), and director of Treasury for Minnegasco. She currently serves on a number of non-profit boards.

Personal

Jane was born in Milwaukee, and grew up in the Twin Cities. She and her husband have two adult sons. Jane is an avid perennial and herb gardener and has recently started experimenting with various ethnic recipes.
