Career
Ms. Lund has spent her career in community economic development, specializing in cooperative and community-based enterprises. She is the Managing Director of the Twin Cities office of the Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation, and was previously the Executive Director for 15 years of the Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund, a community development loan fund for cooperative enterprises across the Midwest. She has served on numerous community boards and is presently Chair of Board of the Institute for Medical Education as well as a member of the board of Health Partners Insurance Company. She is a past recipient of the Leadership Initiatives in Neighborhoods program and recently received a national award for Community Service from the Consumer Co-op Managers Association.

Personal
Margaret was born in Minneapolis where she still resides with her husband and three school-age children. She enjoys the outdoors and is an avid appreciator and sometime practitioner of the arts.
