As head of a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health, I understand the importance of our commitment to the mission of HealthPartners-to improve the health our members, our patients and the community.
As Board Chair of HealthPartners and as president and CEO of the YMCA of Greater St. Paul, I am very aware of the many challenges in our healthcare system today. Healthcare costs, which have risen for a number of years, are continuing to spiral out of control for families, individuals and for employers. People are struggling to maintain their coverage and looking for help and leadership to avert the growing healthcare crisis. At HealthPartners, we believe that healthcare coverage for all is key. Ensuring individuals have the right care, at the right time will not only save dollars, it can save lives.
