Career
For nearly three decades, Ms. Wilson has served as president and chief executive officer of the St. Paul Urban League. She has also worked at the Metropolitan Council and the St. Paul Urban Coalition. She has served on the boards of the St. Paul Academy and Summit School, Indianhead Council Boy Scouts of America, and the State of Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection.
Education
Undergraduate work at Knoxville College in Knoxville, Tennessee and Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota. Graduate work at University of Minnesota School of Public Affairs (now the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs).
Personal
Ms. Wilson was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She is married to former St. Paul City Council President, Bill Wilson, and has one daughter, one son, and one granddaughter. Her hobbies include reading "bestseller" novels.
