Career
Kathy Cooney began her career at HealthPartners in 1986. Prior to that she served as a management consultant specializing in healthcare strategies at Ernst and Whitney (now Ernst and Young). With a nursing degree and a master's in management, Kathy brings expertise from both a business and a care provider perspective.

Personal
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, raised in Chicago. She is married with two sons. She spends time going to her sons' hockey and baseball games and serves on the board of directors at the College of St. Benedict.
