Career
Chief marketing officer at HealthPartners is the latest position in a career that has revolved around public policy, public relations, marketing and sales. Before joining HealthPartners, Walsh practiced law and served as the assistant commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Health where she was a leader in the public policy development of MinnesotaCare. She joined HealthPartners in 1994 serving in various legal and policy leadership positions. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Metropolitan Minneapolis YMCA, the Minneapolis Downtown Council and the Citizen's League.

Personal
Walsh grew up in Rochester, Minnesota, where her father was a physician at the Mayo Clinic. She and her husband have three children. Honors include CityBusiness "40 Under 40" business leader recognition award in 1998, and recognition by the Health Care Forum as an "International Emerging Leader in Health Care" in 1999.
