New clinic to offer expanded services
January 6, 2009
ST. CLOUD MINN. - HealthPartners Central Minnesota Clinics (HPCMC) announced plans today to begin construction on a new 60,000-square-foot clinic at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and 23rd Street in Sartell. Construction will begin in April with an opening planned for spring 2010.
The new clinic will include expanded services for medical, dental, pediatric, obstetrics, gynecology, diabetes and behavioral health patients. The clinic also will be home to a NovaCare Physical Therapy clinic and other allied healthcare delivery providers. HPCMC's Sleep Center will move to a new expanded location.
"We have experienced strong growth in recent years and will be pleased to offer our patients a new and expanded facility that is easily accessible," said Andy Vinson, HPCMC executive director. "We look forward to providing an exceptional patient experience for even more people in our community."
HPCMC has partnered with Erdman, a Cogdell Spencer Company of Madison, Wis., to create patient-centered environments that support high quality health care. Erdman is a nationally recognized healthcare facilities provider, offering solutions to more than 5,000 healthcare organizations and more than 50,000 physicians nationwide.
Erdman will put out a request for bids early in 2009. Erdman will own the building and lease the space to HPCMC. The new facility will give HPCMC room to further expand its services in the future and eventually double its team of physicians to more than 40 providers.
