HealthPartners physicians available to comment on head injuries related to Natasha Richardson skiing accident

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Many questions have come up since news broke that actress Natasha Richardson is hospitalized with a head injury from a skiing accident. Ms. Richardson actually walked away after her fall, before becoming more seriously ill. With skiing and snowboarding season not quite over in Minnesota, and biking season starting up again, emergency rooms are seeing many head injuries.

Head injury experts say protective helmets make a huge difference in protecting people from sustaining head injuries as well as decreasing their severity.
