HealthPartners cited as model for health reform proposal
National Public Radio reporter Joanne Silberner recently visited the HealthPartners Inver Grove Heights Clinic for a story on proposed legislation to create healthcare co-ops as part of a larger healthcare reform bill. She spoke to a number of people, including president and CEO Mary Brainerd and Tom Brinsko, chair of the HealthPartners Board of Directors, about HealthPartners' unique position as a consumer-governed, not-for-profit healthcare organization.
