HealthPartners partnering with Horizon Health for new health screening capabilities
Partnership allows direct feed from biometrics into health assessment

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - HealthPartners is working with Horizon Health/Hooper Homes to provide even better on-site health screening capabilities. HealthPartners has been an offering health screenings for years, and the new partnership allows HealthPartners to have the capability to seamlessly feed screening results into the nationally recognized health assessment. The direct feed pre-populates the screening results into the health assessment and helps to calculate a participant's resulting HealthPotentialSM score.
Horizon Health begins as the preferred vendor this week. The program will now include a direct feed from the screenings which prepopulates the answers in the health assessment. Health screenings can include weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels and BMI. This provides a more accurate HealthPotentialSM Score.
"More and more employers are implementing on-site health screenings in the workplace to increase employee awareness and motivate them to make changes to improve their health," said Nico Pronk, Ph.D., HealthPartners vice president for health management and JourneyWell health science officer. "This partnership will lead to a more accurate understanding of a participant's health status."
HealthPartners on-site health screenings are a flexible, convenient approach that allows seamless integration into employers' health and wellness initiatives for powerful results. The improved service offers more flexibility to employers and it can now tie biometrics into the company's larger wellness solution while helping employers better understand their population health risks. These new capabilities allow coverage in every zip code in the United States and include more than 9,000 screening professionals who are trained, certified examiners.
