HealthPartners® Freedom plans are Medicare Cost plans that pick up where Medicare coverage leaves off. They have an open access network which means you can obtain services from any of the HealthPartners contracted providers, which includes most doctors and hospitals throughout Minnesota.
An added bonus is a travel benefit that covers members while traveling outside of the plan's service area, but within the United States. You can receive services from non-contracted providers while vacationing or temporarily outside of the area for up to nine months.
