Doing business with HealthPartners- Vendor Program HealthPartners and Regions Hospital Vendor Website Vendor Registration Program Definitions and Examples February 2008 The HealthPartners and Regions Hospital Vendor Registration Program is intended to include all manufacturers and sellers of goods and services used for patient care and in the operation of our facilities. These vendors – including those who do not specifically visit our facilities to conduct business – are required to register. Examples include: Drugs, devices, implants, biologicals, medical equipment Office supplies and equipment Consulting and legal services Courier and transportation services Construction companies Examples of businesses that are not required to register include: Recipients of charitable donations Recipients of corporate advertising and sponsorships County and other public programs Refund recipients Trade associations Publications, periodicals Landlords Utilities Frequent fitness facilities Network providers ICSI vendors Many businesses fall into a gray area and need to be reviewed on a case by case basis.
