Statement of Interest:
The dedication and work of HealthPartners leadership, staff and Board are amazing and have led to its well-deserved national recognition as a leader in many measures of healthcare and healthcare innovation. I would very much like to remain on the Board as it continues its focus on quality care, affordability, accessibility and customer service. I bring to the Board my strong background in Baldridge/Total Quality Management with its focus on mission, processes and outcome measures. HealthPartners has seen my family through routine and emergency medical care since 1972. As a former employer who purchased healthcare benefits and now as a retired person purchasing an individual plan, I am concerned about the escalating expense of healthcare and will continue to work on cost containment. I am proud of the many steps HealthPartners has taken to reduce overhead while increasing services and care to members, patients and the community. I believe in HealthPartners and want to see it continue to grow in service to its members and in healthcare innovation.
