For the past seven years, we've been utilizing four national networks. Now, we're in a long-term alliance with one national carrier — CIGNA. We've streamlined, simplified and integrated to do what's best for our members and their employers. More importantly, we're approaching this implementation strategically and diligently to ensure a seamless transition for employers and no disruption for members.
This alliance has been in development since May 2005. Since then we have been methodically planning our implementation. We've already completed our provider data exchange and loaded all 470,000 CIGNA providers onto our website for fast, easy provider searches by ZIP code. We're also testing delivery and receipt of live membership files, data exchange and claims exchange to ensure a smooth transition for your clients.
