Cancer Survivors' Support Group

Come join us for a time together for sharing of information and support. The Cancer Support Group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month in the conference center from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted*.
Programs are FREE and open to adults whose lives have been touched by cancer

Look Good...Feel Better

Cosmetology professionals help patients in cancer treatment with makeup application, dry skin, discolored nails, choice and care of a wig, scarves, turbans and hats. A free program sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation, and the National Cosmetic Association.

Held the first Monday evening at 7 p.m., every other month.
2010 schedule: Jul. 12, Sept. 13, Nov. 1

Caregivers Support Group

My Turn to Care
Support group for people caring for elderly parents or those struggling to find resources to keep parents safe at home.
Fee: FREE and open to the public.
Meets the first Monday of every month.
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the hospital conference center.

Facilitated by Suzanne Ballantyne, LCSW, social worker on staff at Westfields Hospital.

Diabetic Support & Information Session

May 19 - Protect Your Eyes. Guest speaker Carl Tubbs, M.D. from Associated Eye Care will give guidelines to protect our vision against diabetic eye disease. Come with your questions and get answers from an expert.
June 16 - Amazing Technology. Learn about the latest insulin pumps with no tubing and continuous glucose monitoring. Imagine knowing your blood sugar every minute with a monitor you can use at home. Speakers provided by Abbott Diabetes Care.
