Research

  • HealthPartners is a leader in electronic medical records and online patient care
  • Began implementing early versions of electronic medical records in 1997
  • By 2004 all HealthPartners Clinics were using electronic medical records
  • First in Minnesota to offer patients the ability to schedule doctor appointments online
  • More than 337,000 patients have signed up for Online Patient Services
  • Since we automated releasing test results to patients in 2007, we have released more than 18 million results online
  • myHP app and mobile site, launched in 2012, allows members to track health care spending, including balances in FSA, HSA and health reimbursement accounts, deductibles and out of-of-pocket maximums
  • Online prescription refills available via the myHP app or healthpartners.com
  • Patients can schedule telephone visits or e-visits with their primary care provider to discuss non-urgent conditions or follow-up care
  • In 2004, Park Nicollet became the first health system in the Twin Cities to have a fully integrated electronic medical record across hospital, clinic and home health care
