Botox®
Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that is administered in a simple, nonsurgical procedure (often called a lunchtime procedure). It temporarily reduces frown lines and wrinkles by causing muscles to relax so the skin appears smoother.

Why should I consider Botox?
Years of squinting, concentrating or frowning can cause your skin to furrow and crease. As time passes, your skin becomes less elastic and those moderate to severe frown lines between your brows remain - even when your muscles aren't contracting.
Will I still be able to make facial expressions?
Although the results are visible, it will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you've "had work done." The muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines between the brows is temporarily reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles or creases.
Is treatment painful?
Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injecting, your provider may numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream.
How quickly will I see a difference?
Generally it takes a few days to notice softening in the appearance of your frown lines between your brows and usually full effects are observed within a couple weeks.
How long can I expect my results to last?
Results have been shown to last up to six months. Your own results may vary - be sure to talk to your provider about what you can expect and when to schedule your next appointment.
Treatment Instructions
Post treatment care:
- You should remain upright for four hours following your treatment.
- You should avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours.
- Do not press or manipulate injected areas; ice packs placed gently to areas of bruising are fine.
- If you develop a headache, take Tylenol® 325 mg (one to two tablets by mouth every six hours). Most headaches, including tension type and migraine type are improved by Botox, however some patients develop a transient (temporary) headache within 4 to 72 hours after injection
Juvederm®
Juvederm® injectable gel restores volume and smooths away facial wrinkles and folds by replacing the hyaluronic acid (HA) your skin has lost. You can experience the benefits of Juvederm® in a quick, in-office procedure.

Your provider can provide a quick, in-office procedure using Juvederm® which will allow you minimal downtime. It is gently inserted under the skin to instantly smooth out the wrinkles and folds on your face. You'll see the difference instantly!
Treatment Instructions
Post treatment care:
After your treatment you should avoid the following for at least 24 hours:
- strenuous exercise
- consumption of alcoholic beverages
- extended exposure to sun or heat
Exposure to any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection sites. If you have swelling at the injection site, you can apply an ice pack for a brief period. Your provider will inform you when makeup may be applied after your treatment
