Pahoua Hoffman, HealthPartners senior vice president of government and community relations, has been named a Top Diversity Leader in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. The award honors influential health care executives and organizations working to further equity and inclusion at their organizations and in the industry.

Hoffman was recognized for her overall leadership, as well as being instrumental in several initiatives. Internally, she helped launch HealthPartners Community Advisory Council to inform research and evaluation. Externally, she encouraged HealthPartners to participate in a new initiative led by two American Indian-led nonprofits to support the health and economic mobility of American Indian families.

Hoffman is also an executive sponsor for several internal colleague resource groups (CRG) including the Black and African American CRG and the Disability CRG that work to fulfill HealthPartners’ commitment to making everyone feel welcome, valued and included.

“Pahoua is an exceptional leader at HealthPartners and in the community. She builds trust through inclusion and delivers results through partnership,” said HealthPartners President and CEO Andrea Walsh. “And her efforts to connect partners through programs like Little Moments Count help advance health and well-being in our community. She is so deserving of this honor.”
