Lakeview Hospital announced today that Michelle Boe will serve as the new executive director of the Lakeview Health Foundation. Boe begins this week and will be responsible for the foundation’s philanthropic and community efforts, building relationships to support a variety of programs and advancing the HealthPartners mission to improve health and well-being in partnership with its members, patients and community.

Boe has an extensive background in development leadership within higher education and health care. Most recently, she was the vice president of university advancement and general counsel at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Previously, she was the senior development officer of medicine and health for the University of Minnesota Foundation.

“Michelle brings the perfect skillset, passion and personality to lead the next chapter of the Lakeview Health Foundation,” said Lakeview Hospital President Brandi Lunneborg. “She’s led significant capital campaigns and fundraising events, continually exceeded philanthropic targets and, most importantly, has been a trusted partner to the organizations and communities she has served.”

Michelle is a longtime resident of the St. Croix Valley and lives with her family in Lake Elmo. She holds a Juris Doctor from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul and a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from the University of Minnesota.

“Growing up and now raising my family in the St. Croix Valley, I truly have a passion for this community and am so inspired by Lakeview’s strong commitment to service,” Boe said. “I look forward to strengthening our culture of philanthropy while building programs, resources and services that improve well-being for our colleagues, patients and families and entire community.”
