    About me

As the Director of Medicare and Government Programs at HealthPartners, I lead a team responsible for product management and oversight of the company’s contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I’ve been working on Medicare issues for more than 20 years and have developed a strong awareness of how seniors are impacted by this important program. It all starts with initial enrollment, understanding when and how to apply. There are also numerous aspects of Medicare to understand, including what Medicare Parts A, B, C and D do and don’t cover and how they relate to each other. Questions may also arise about what is covered or how to get help paying for Medicare costs. My team and I are constantly looking for ways for HealthPartners members and patients to use Medicare effectively as part of their overall health journey.

When I’m not working, I enjoy the outdoors and being active with my family. My interest in gardening inspired me to lead a community garden where the food is donated to elderly neighborhood residents.
