As Senior Medical Director for Primary Care at HealthPartners, I support teams who provide primary care for more than 500,000 patients across our health system. We deliver this care at more than 30 primary care clinics, as well as urgent care clinics, occupational medicine sites and worksite clinics. I also still see patients in an active clinical practice. Comprehensive primary care encompasses a full range of care, with professionals that include family medicine doctors, internal medicine doctors, physician assistant and nurse practitioners, pediatricians, internal medicine/pediatrics doctors, and OB-GYNs and midwives. I have a longstanding interest in improving primary care delivery and the patient experience, and in coordinating care across a system that also provides specialty care, behavioral health and hospital services.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets and playing oboe in community bands.
