I chose pediatrics because I love interacting with kids every day. It is a unique opportunity to form a bond with not just a patient but an entire family. Pediatrics is unique because so much of it is teaching based. I feel that setting a good heathy foundation for children can positively impact them for the rest of their lives. I also like having the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
