More about me

I became an orthopedic surgeon to make the lives of patients better than when I first met them.

My patients can expect my honesty and integrity. I will give straight forward answers and a common sense approach to give you the best surgical or non-surgical result for your problem. My patients will be ‘treated like mom would have wanted.’

In my free time, I enjoy working with computers, doing genealogy research and spending time with my family.

This is an excellent question - not so excellent answers available upon request.

Medford, OR

As someone who is friendly, easy going and has an underlying intensity.

I wanted to initially be a civil engineer, then a surgeon.

You are never good enough at what you do that you can't be better tomorrow. Perfection without perspective is unwise.

I love the bright sunshine in the winters in Minnesota - you don't get that much in Oregon.

• Board Certified by American Board of Orthopedic Surgery • Member of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons • Naval Health Professions Scholarship winner • Kappa Sigma National Leadership Award • OHSU best teacher award

If there is an answer to your orthopedic problem, I will walk across hot coals to find it. I take great pride in making sure my patients are the most educated about their problem and treatment plan as possible- that greatly increases the odds of success.
