I have over two decades of experience providing eating disorder treatment to our patients and their families in all levels of care. I am honored to have the opportunity to encourage body image acceptance and a positive self-esteem among impressionable young people and to help our patients challenge the destructive messages promoted by eating disorders.

More about me

I am fascinated with the uniqueness of people, their stories and how their interpretation of the world directs their choices.

Patients can expect honesty, a direct approach, accountability, empathy and over two decades of experience in the mental health field.

In my free time, I enjoy knitting, reading, running and spending time with my family and friends.

Exercising, trying to eat well, getting regular check-ups and finding ways to relax.

I grew up in Winona, MN and raised my family in Shakopee, MN.

Funny, extroverted, hardworking, good listener, compassionate, active and committed.

I wanted to be a psychologist.

“Anything can be accomplished with dedication and hard work. Take responsibility for your behavior.” -- My mother

I love the change of seasons and my family all lives here.

Completing a doctorate and master’s degree in clinical psychology, finishing the Twin Cities marathon, raising my two daughters, 23 years of marriage to their father, investing 18 years of my life to treating eating disorders and watching patients get well.
