More about me
After college, I was employed as a phlebotomist in the emergency department. I loved the contact with such a broad variety of patients and saw being an orthopedic surgeon as a way to see the patient from the emergency department through their long term recovery.
I want my patients to know they can expect their care to be grounded in the most advanced principles of care, yet tailored to them and their specific goals and needs. As an orthopedic trauma surgeon, patients often meet me on the worst day of their lives. No patient's situation and circumstances are the same, and each patient should feel they are understood and acknowledged.
In my spare time, I enjoy getting outdoors with my family. I am an assistant coach for my son's hockey team. I also enjoy going to the gym, reading, traveling and experiencing music and art with my wife.
Cycling, hockey, skiing and weight training.
Driven, knowledgeable, caring, astute and a well-rounded individual.
I wanted to be a teacher.
