The Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) has let us know they will hold a strike at Methodist Hospital from DATE through DATE. We want to assure you that we’re fully prepared to ensure our patients and members continue to receive safe, high-quality care during this strike.

During the nurses strike, all care and services at Methodist Hospital will be available as scheduled.

 Your care options during the strike

If you are uncomfortable seeking care at Methodist Hospital during the strike, we have several care options ready to serve you and your family’s health needs, including Park Nicollet clinics, Regions Hospital and Hutchinson Health Hospital.

Our 24/7 online clinic, Virtuwell, is also available. At Virtuwell, you can get a diagnosis, treatment plan and prescription from a board-certified nurse practitioner, all from the comfort of your own home.

Our other hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin are operating as scheduled. Specialty care locations, like TRIA, are also unaffected.

You may also schedule a video visit for some types of care appointments.

If you have a previously scheduled appointment at Methodist Hospital, it may need to be altered. If your appointment needs to be changed, our staff will reach out directly to you to discuss care options. You don’t need to take any action. However, if you’d prefer to change your appointment now, you can reschedule it online at healthpartners.com/schedule.

This strike impacts MNA-represented nurses at Methodist Hospital. It does not impact doctors at Methodist Hospital, or nurses at any other Park Nicollet or HealthPartners location.

We hope to keep as many scheduled appointments as possible. We’ll call you directly if we need to change your appointment date, time or location. You don’t need to take any action.

On-site classes and events may be postponed. Please confirm with your event’s organizer before attending.

There may be picketers at Methodist Hospital. Striking employees have the right to picket.

Our safety and security teams will be present and available to ensure everyone’s safety. They will also be available to help you if you have any questions or concerns.
