Regions Hospital offers the ShareGivers™ Peer Visitor Program created by the American Stroke Association and American Heart Association. This program connects stroke survivors with hospitalized stroke patients, before discharge, to provide support, information and encouragement. The ShareGivers™ peer visitors go through training and are available to share their own personal perspective.

If you are a new stroke patient or caregiver interested in meeting with a ShareGivers™ peer visitor, please ask for information at the stroke unit desk (W3, S6 or S10) or call Regions Hospital Stroke Program Coordinator at 651-254-3703.
