Meet Matthew E. Ballenthin, PsyD, LP
As a Licensed Psychologist, I provide individual and family therapy and psychological testing services to children, adolescents and adults. My experience in outpatient, inpatient and residential health settings has equipped me to help people who struggle with a wide range of difficulties from mild to severe. Some common issues I see patients for include adjustment, depression, anxiety/stress, ADHD, conduct, trauma, school/work, coping, communication and social skills deficits, anger management and family issues. I have specialized training in providing Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
My services are grounded in current evidence-based treatments to facilitate symptom reduction and improved functioning. I strongly believe in establishing a supportive, warm and collaborative relationship with each client while maintaining a focus on meeting their individual needs and goals.
I am a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology where I obtained my master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology.
