Cancer treatment at Regions starts with our 48-hour promise. This means you’ll see an oncologist within 48 hours of your cancer diagnosis so you can get answers and start a personalized cancer treatment plan right away.

Our cancer doctors are nationally recognized for the care they provide to patients at Regions. Other people on your care team may include nurses, physician assistants, dieticians and other specialists.

Dr. Richard Peterson is one of just a few neuro-oncologists in the state and leads the neuro-oncology program at Regions Hospital. You can be seen at both Regions and HealthPartners Riverside Clinic in Minneapolis when you are part of the neuro-oncology program. We offer services for:
