The Regions Hospital Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (ADAP) has been helping people since 1972. You’ll feel safe and welcome here. We have the tools and experience to help you recover and make a new start filled with hope and healing.
Treatment and recovery are different for everyone, so the first step is an individual assessment. We’ll look at your relationship with mood-altering chemicals and make a plan that works for you. Assessments are available during the day and on a walk in basis only. Our doors open for assessment Monday–Friday at 8 a.m.
You and your recovery are the focus of ADAP treatment. We believe that addiction is a chronic brain disease and, like other chronic diseases, needs to be managed long term.
We also believe recovery is a process, not an event, and everyone's path to recovery is different. These principles guide our clients through a full range of services from engagement to intervention, treatment, rehabilitation and support.
ADAP has tools, skills training, information and support to help you and your family through the recovery process.
This is for people who need a supportive environment, but who do not need medically supervised detoxification. Clients may stay overnight in the residential unit in addition to attending residential ADAP groups. Clients usually stay in this program between 21 and 30 days. There are also special services for clients being treated for more than one disorder.
