Career

Deb Hopp is vice president of publishing and publisher of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine at MSP Communications, Inc. She also directs the sales and marketing functions of the company’s print and digital publications. Deb has more than 40 years of experience in publishing and marketing. Her career began at the Minnesota Daily. Deb has served on a number of volunteer boards of directors including The United Way, The Minnesota Orchestral Association, the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, Minnesota Women’s Economic Roundtable, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, WomenWinning, The Minnesota Children’s Museum, Girl Scout Councils of River Valley, Minneapolis Downtown Council, Walker Art Center, University of Minnesota Foundation and Lakewood Cemetery. She also serves on boards of both public and privately held companies.

Personal

A native of Cloquet, Minnesota, Deb and her husband Christopher Dahl live in Orono. They spend most summer weekends on a wilderness island in northern Minnesota that has been in his family for nearly 100 years. They have four grown children and two grandchildren. Deb loves sports and traveling and wishes for more time with family, friends and other brilliant people.
