Free electronic recycling collection at eight HealthPartners locations across the metro

Get rid of your old laptops, cellphones, electrical cords and more at HealthPartners’ Tech Dump events

March 26, 2015

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — March 26, 2015 — In recognition of Earth Day, eight HealthPartners and Park Nicollet hospitals and clinics are partnering with Tech Dump, a Minnesota electronics recycling nonprofit, to collect unwanted electronics (gently used, obsolete, or damaged). Sustainability is an important part of the HealthPartners mission, which is to improve health and well-being in partnership with those we serve. By caring for the places where we live and work, we’re creating healthier and cleaner communities for us, our members, patients and future generations.

“The electronics recycling event is another example of HealthPartners’ focused efforts on sustainability and community outreach. We invite our staff and the community to participate in this event and support our recycling and ecofriendly efforts,” says Dana Slade, manager, Sustainability, HealthPartners.

Gather up your broken laptops, ancient cell phones, random cords and more (larger appliances not accepted). HealthPartners and Tech Dump are partnering to host eight free electronics recycling events across the metro during the last few weeks of April. Regardless of where you work or live, from St. Louis Park to the St. Croix Valley, we’ve got a location where you can unload those old electronics – and feel good about supporting Earth Day and a healthier, cleaner environment. Find a location near you:
