Park Nicollet Named one of Nation’s Best Employers

One of only 15 Minnesota employers named by Forbes

April 11, 2016

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Park Nicollet Health Services was recently named one of “America’s Best Employers” by Forbes. The ranking is based on a survey of employees that asked if they’d recommend their company to others as a good place to work.

“This honor is a reflection of all that we do to improve health and well-being in partnership with those we serve,” said Mary Brainerd, president and chief executive officer. “It’s also testament to our organizational culture, in which we engage and value one another while working to achieve our mission and vision.”

Only 15 Minnesota companies were included on the list of 500 large employers; Park Nicollet was ranked 106th. Other local companies named on the list include 3M, Medtronic, Cargill, the State of Minnesota and General Mills.

The America’s Best Employers rankings are based on the results of an employee survey conducted by a third-party organization. More than 30,000 employees of large companies (5,000 or more employees) were contacted anonymously, without the involvement of their employer, and asked whether they’d recommend their employer to others and how they felt about other employers in their industry.

In the past, HealthPartners and Park Nicollet Health Services have been named top workplaces by the Star Tribune and Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as well.
