Introduction of new online comparison and enrollment tool compares up to three plans at once for annual health plan and prescription drug coverage

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — July 2, 2014 — HealthPartners announced today the launch of a new online comparison tool for Medical plan consumers. The tool enables members, brokers, and prospects to compare annual health plan and prescription coverage cost for HealthPartners Medicare plans.

The new tool provides a side-by-side comparison of up to three HealthPartners Medicare plans. After the consumer or broker answers a few brief questions about age, prescription drugs and pharmacy preferences, the tool will show the user their Medicare health plan options. Plan comparisons include information about plan costs, provider coverage and prescription medication options. Each can be sorted by premium, total estimated costs or star rating so the user can pick the best plan that fits their health care needs.

Once a plan is chosen, users can conveniently submit an enrollment application online to HealthPartners. All provided information is kept confidential and does not influence the comparison tool’s cost estimates.
