September 14, 2015

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — The Park Nicollet Foundation is hosting its fourth annual Be Pink fundraising breakfast on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Wayzata Country Club from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The breakfast kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and brings the community together to promote early detection and health for all women.

"The support we receive from the community for this event is tremendous, and we’re really looking forward to this year’s Be Pink breakfast," says Lynn Groll, director of development resources for Park Nicollet Foundation. "It will feature great food, a special pink box activity and some inspiring stories. Most importantly, though, it’ll help raise breast cancer awareness to support the health and healing of women in our community."

Proceeds raised during the Be Pink breakfast will support education, mammogram screenings, and additional diagnostic services for all women. Proceeds will also support community outreach efforts, such as Mammo a-go-go, a mobile mammography unit made possible through a partnership between Park Nicollet Jane Brattain Breast Center and Park Nicollet Foundation.

The event is sponsored by Schuler Shoe’s and is free for participants. Guests attending will be asked to contribute a voluntary donation. Registration is required and seating is limited. To register, visit parknicollet.com/bepinkwayzata or call 952-993-5023.
