April 13, 2018

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — This year, four HealthPartners hospitalists have been recognized by the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) for their work in the field and their commitment to our patients and members.

  • Meredith Wold, physician assistant, received the Award for Clinical Excellence for Nurse Practitioners/Physicians Assistants
  • Rick Hilger, MD received the Award for Clinical Excellence for Physicians
  • Jerome Siy, MD was elected to the SHM Board of Directors
  • Benji Mathews, MD was selected to be Course Director for the 2021 SHM Annual Meeting, and assistant course director in 2020

Other HealthPartners employees served as instructors or speakers during the SHM annual meeting. HealthPartners is extremely honored to have such dedicated professionals serving at our hospitals. And we are thrilled that their efforts were recognized by the Society of Hospital Medicine.

SHM is an organization dedicated to the hospital medicine movement. The group works to identify and highlight exceptional care for hospitalized patients. In addition, SHM provides members with educational and networking opportunities, quality improvement resources, research, advocacy and more.
