September 14, 2017

St. Louis Park, Minn.—Beth Warner, CFRE, has been named the new executive director for the Park Nicollet Foundation. Donna Zimmerman, senior vice president of government and community relations, along with Steve Connelly, MD, co-executive medical director of HealthPartners care group and president of Park Nicollet Health Services, made the announcement this week.

Warner has been engaged in the philanthropic community for more than 17 years. Working at Park Nicollet Foundation since 2011, and serving most recently as senior major gift officer, she has been instrumental in cultivating relationships to support a variety of programs that impact and improve lives for people in the community.

“I’m thrilled to be able to continue to build on the mission and legacy of Park Nicollet Foundation,” Warner says. “We impact the lives of patients, families and community members by enhancing care, supporting innovative solutions that improve health and well-being and addressing unmet needs through volunteerism and philanthropy. It is my goal to help further this work and continue to strengthen our partnerships and relationships to provide even more impact for Park Nicollet and the communities and people we serve.”

Prior to her time with the Park Nicollet Foundation, Warner was a resource development manager with the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, and a financial development specialist with the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota school of journalism.

Park Nicollet Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Park Nicollet Health Services, and supports 29 clinics, Methodist Hospital, more than 13 specialty centers and a variety of community programs. The Foundation also includes Park Nicollet Volunteer Services, the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Gift Shop and the Park Nicollet Service League. This past year, Warner played a key role in helping the Foundation raise more than $7.5 million in gifts and commitments, impacting patient and family experience, community programming, research and innovation.

“Beth will be a tremendous leader for the Park Nicollet Foundation,” said Zimmerman. “She is a strong and visible community leader with a great background in civic and board experiences. She is an asset to the organization, and we’re proud to have her lead the work of the Foundation.”
